Virginia Barnes of Hanceville Alabama passed away on August 13, 2016 at Hanceville Nursing Home at the age of 92. She was born in Nashville Tn., on May 29, 1924 to Thomas Gordon and Alma Octavia Hanke Dodson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Brother: Thomas Dodson Jr., Grandchild: Christopher Fontana, Great Grandchild: Vivian June Fontana.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 P.M.
Survivors are: Daughters: Claudia Barnes, Pamela (Harold) Guthery, Grandchildren: Paul Fontana, Kevin Grimes, Dana Grimes, Melissa Jeanette Fontana, Great Grandchildren: Augustus Paul Fontana, Leo West Fontana, Justin Grimes and Jonathan Grimes, Great Great Grandchild: Copper Grimes.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:30 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home.
