Virginia Lee Parker Perry

Ms. Perry passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at U.A.B. Hospital. She was born on December 19, 1944 in Cullman to the late Elmer and Hazel Francis Pope Parker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister. Imajean Tysinger.

Virginia graduated from Wallace State College with a Nursing Degree. She was an outstanding nurse at Hartselle Hospital for over 25 years. Ms. Perry loved her family, friends and enjoyed life; and was a person who left lasting memories to everyone she met.

Survivors include a Daughter – Debbie Reeves; one Son – James (Suzanne) Perry; three 3 – Sisters – Jeannie Parker, Denise (James) Cofer and Doris Wilhite; two 2 – Brothers – Dennis (Penny) Parker and Gary (Hope) Parker; six 6 – Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.
