
Walter Gene “T.O.” Hall, Age 79 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 2 after a lengthy illness. Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements .Visitation will be Thursday January 5th. from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will follow at 2:00 PM. Rev. Ray Ponder and Rev. Tommy Graves officiating with burial to follow in the Cullman City Cemetery
“T.O.” was born October 28, 1937 to Leonard Hall and Laura Mardis Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Two Brothers: Edward Hall and James Hall, Sister: Shelia Hall.
He is survived by his wife of almost fifty years: Jewel McCarn Hall, A daughter: Tammy (Eric) Edmonds and a son: Tony Sanford. Two Sisters: Jeanette (Guy) Holcomb and Navada Quick, Two Brothers: William “Cotton” (Melba) Hall and Roger Hall. Grandchildren: Brett and Erica Gordon and three Great Grandchildren and a host of wonderful relatives and friends.
T.O. honorably served his nation in the United States Airforce. He adored his two furry friends: Havana and Cricket. He retired in 2001 from Commercial Construction. Then enjoyed his woodwork hobbies, making Bluebird Houses and giving them to Family and friends.
Pallbearers: William “Cotton” Hall, Hugh Hendrix, Brett Gordon, Ray Brown, Greg Quick and Randall Quick. Honorary Pallbearers: Wayne Chandler, Charles Bentley, Gary Cobb and Laurel Segars. Memorials may be given to any charity of your choice.
