Wendell Gary “Bug” England passed away on August 3, 2013 at the age of 72. The visitation will be held at Moss Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6th from 5pm to 8pm. Gary will lie in state at St. John’s Evangelical Church from 2pm to 3pm on Wednesday, August 7th, with the funeral service to be held immediately after.
Gary was a devoted and beloved family man, preceded in death by his parents Myrtie and Buell “Dutch” England, his sister Doris Hembree and his brother Bob.
Gary is survived by his wife Sherry, his son Scott (Jennifer Windham), his daughter Holly Kilpatrick (Justin), and his grandchildren Maddy Kilpatrick, Eli Kilpatrick, Maddox England, and Lily Grace England. Other surviving family members include his sister-in-law Lyla England, his nephews Kent England and Kerry Hembree, his niece Tena Freeman, and a host of other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations made to the American Heart Association.
