

Ashleigh Dawn Hawkins, age 24, of Amissville, VA, died at home on Friday, January 11, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. She was born May 16, 1988, at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, VA, and worked for Union First Market Bank in Warrenton, VA. Ashleigh fought a long battle with a liver transplant and then a bone-marrow transplant.
The family would like to give very special thanks to Dr. Anita Maybach and Dr. Sayed Ali and the Infusion Center for all of their support.
Ashleigh is survived by her parents, Cleveland and Angela “Sally” Hawkins of Amissville, two brothers; Anthony Hawkins and his wife Stephanie of Boston and Aaron Hawkins of Amissville, three nieces; Melanie, Haley and Natalie, one nephew, Shane Bryant Lee Hawkins, God-mother, Jeanne Brown and grandparents; Ralph and Goldie Hawkins of Reva. Her grandparents, Henry and Juanita Grigsby precede her in death.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 14, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Hwy., Culpeper. Funeral services are Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Clore-English Chapel with Pastors J.T. Pitman, Charles Campbell and Ricky Savage officiating. Interment will follow services in the Grigsby Family Cemetery. Following the burial, the family will receive friends at Massonova Pentecostal Church, 691 Aaron Mnt. Rd, Castleton.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers are Simeon Campbell, Jeff Grigsby, Devin Ketchem, Matthew Ketchem, T.J. Ketchem and Glen Tharpe; honoraries are Evan Grigsby, Hunter Grigsby, Jeffrey Grigsby and Mark Walker.
