Barbara was one of the kindest women my mom met at the Culpeper when we moved her here several years ago.  She ate meals with my mom and when my mom was too sick to eat in the dining hall anymore she always looked for me to ask how she was.  My mom always remarked what a wonderful, kind, faithful person she was.  I will always remember her kindness towards my mom.  Barbara - like her husband Roy (whom I knew also) were true examples of southern culture - friendly, kind, and genuine.  I am sure she and Roy are missed.  

I have so many fond memories of Barbara from my growing up years in Culpeper. Her daughter was the flower girl in my wedding and I was working at Culpeper Memorial Hospital when her son was born. What a loving, special woman she was. I know she will be missed. My prayers are with the family and her many friends.
