Barbara Spilman Peters

Barbara Spilman Peters, 84, of Culpeper, VA passed away July 31, 2021 at the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. Barbara was the widow of Franklin Peters. She was born January 8, 1937 to Alexander Spilman and Frances Quaintence Spilman. Barbara enjoyed cooking, painting and her children, who called her a saint. Surviving Barbara are her children Stuart Wynham, Susan Foltz, Mary Ann Kutik, Andrew Wynham, Katherine Sears, Tammy Mogul and Leonard Peters. She also has a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her children Jim, Robie and Nancy. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
