Bryant "Ronnie" Ronald Jenkins Sr., age 73, of Culpeper, VA passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Novant UVA Culpeper Medical Center. Ronnie was born July 11, 1948 to Bernard Randolph Jenkins, Sr. and Olive Dare West Jenkins.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, worked with the U.S. Postal Service for 40 years; was a great mechanic, especially remodeling old cars and trucks; especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving Ronnie is his wife Emily Jenkins, his children Bryant R. Jenkins, Jr. and his wife Stacy and Ayern Jenkins, all of Culpeper; his siblings Bernard Jenkins, Brenda Aylor, Betty Hess, Bradley Jenkins and Barry Jenkins; three grandchildren Ryan, Brady and Luna; several aunts, an uncle and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A graveside funeral service for Ronnie will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Culpeper National Cemetery, Old Grounds- U.S. Avenue, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Joe Austin officiating. Interment will follow. Military honors will be provided by the local VFW Post 2524.
