Carole Jane Carrington

Our lovely mother and grandmother, Carole Jane Carrington, went to be with her LORD on June 13, 2013 just 4 days shy of her 86th birthday. Mom was born on June 17, 1927 in Provo, Utah to Bernell J. and Hannah Belva (Wadley) Edwards.

Carole was raised (for the most part) in California, in Chino and also Wasco. Her first marriage was to Clifford J. Lawrence in 1948; they had two sons, Steve and Gary. Their marriage, unfortunately, ended in divorce.

She married Calvin R. Carrington in 1953 and survived his death in 2006. Mom and Dad raised six wonderful children, Steve, Gary, Ricky, Claudia, Doug and Chris.

Mom committed much of her later years to serving the LORD. She was very involved in Aglow® International, an alliance of women committed to seeing God’s will done on earth as it is in Heaven. Among other things, mom served in Aglow® leadership and ministered to women in prison.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Calvin and her sons Ricky and Doug. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be greatly missed but always held close in our hearts.
