Charles Edward Boyd

Charles E. “Chuck” Boyd, 88, of Culpeper, VA for 29 years and formerly of Fairfax, VA died January 15, 2017. Mr. Boyd was born in Brownsville, PA to Harry P. and Audie Mae Boyd. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War Two.

He is survived by his six children Charles A. Boyd, Linda M. Wells, Betsy K. Montgomery, Richard L. Boyd, Irene F. Smith, and James E. Boyd; his nine grandchildren Jim, Sherry, Amy, Brandy, Cindy, Amanda, Alex, Charles Thomas, and Katherine and 19 great-grandchildren and his sister Ruth Ann Sargent. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years Violet M. Boyd, his parents and his siblings Jean Volker, Harry Boyd, and William Boyd.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home Saturday February 4, 2017 at 2:00p.m. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour before the service and then will have a time of fellowship immediately following the service at the Reva Volunteer Fire Department.
