I was Mr. Gilman's roommate at Encompass during his stay last month. Enjoyed his company for eight days, though I know how eager he was to return home, to his family and to his wife's home cooking. Extremely saddened to learn of his passing. My sincerest condolences to his family, in particular to Bonnie.

Mr. Gilman was a very good friend of my Dad; Ray Bailey who was the buyer for many years at Central Hardware in Culpeper. I remember my Dad saying so many times how nice a gentleman Hudson Gilman was. My thoughts and prayers to the Gilman family.

I remember Clyde Hudson Gilman very well. I went to his daughter, Bonnie Pullen's place for Stacey's birthday barbecue. He was there. To the family, I am very sorry for your loss.
