Dorothy C Edwards

Born on September 6, 1934 in Fries VA to Randolph and Dessie Vaughn Thomas.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Husband of 60 years Vincent Edwards, siblings: Jessie Thomas, Ruth Edwards, Virginia Jennings, Alice Mae Kahl, and Pearl Spraker, her son Wade Edwards, and her great granddaughters Lucy Grace Ward and Haley Brooke Ward.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Jack Ward, daughter Bonnie West, daughter-in-law Dotty Edwards. Grandchildren Heather Ward, Jason Ward (Michelle), Ryan Ward, Erin Nix (Shane), Zach West (Lacey), Amanda Martinez (Joseph), and Rachel West (Randy). Great grandchildren Hayden, Greta, Raegan, Gabriel, Katelyn, Cameron, Ryland, Adeline, Penelope, Elizabeth, and Julianna along with a host of family and friends.

Dorothy was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on April 4, 1960. She treasured her relationship with Jehovah God and enjoyed sharing her faith with others. She remained a loyal servant in the Culpeper Congregation until her death. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. When she was able to, she enjoyed spending her days flower gardening, bird watching, canning fruits and vegetables from her husband’s garden, going to the shore collecting seashells and raising Dobermans.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025 11am at Clore-English Funeral Home.
