Earl William Allen

Earl William Allen, 89, of Culpeper, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at Dogwood Village of Orange in Orange, VA. He was born on March 21, 1937, in Washington, D.C., to the late Albert and Pearl Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Allen (nee Cave). They married in Alexandria, VA on October 8, 1960. Other survivors include his sister Jean Bruno of Malta, IL, his sisters-in-law Denise Allen of Alexandria, VA, Carol Newland of Culpeper, VA, and Mimi Schirmacher of Lorton, VA, as well as his brothers-in-law Curtis Cave of Indianapolis, IN, James Newland Sr., of Culpeper, Ulo Pulles of Herndon, VA and Martin Schirmacher of Lorton, VA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews located across the country.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Albert Allen, and sisters Betty Thompson (Howard), and Mary Jacobs (William), sisters-in-law Wanda Cave and Patricia Newland, brother-in-law John Bruno.

The family will receive friends from 11-1pm on May 26, 2026, at Clore English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Hwy, Culpeper. Followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Pastor Michael Evans will be officiating the services. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
