Eunice Hill

(Mae) Eunice Devolia Rumsey Hill passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Malcolm Hill, Sr. and daughter Brenda Hill Guinn and her family. Her nieces and nephews and many friends will remember her wit and home cooking.

Mae was born November 30, 1924, and was number six of seven daughters born to William Warren Rumsey and Olive Printz Rumsey. Preceding Mae in death, along with her parents and six sisters, was her son, James Malcolm Hill, Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in the Clore-English chapel with Pastor Sharon Forbes and Billy Mills officiating. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow services in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, VA.
