Fay Eakin Brumback

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fay Eakin Brumback on July 22, 2026 after courageously battling cancer. Mrs. Brumback was born on July 7, 1942. She graduated from McLean High School with the Class of 1960, and married Dallas Brumback in 1961. She stayed home to raise the children, while teaching Sunday School and preschool classes, and supporting her husband’s businesses. The couple divorced in 1999. Mrs. Brumback moved from Sterling to Reva, Virginia several years ago. Mrs. Brumback is survived by her treasured companion of many years, Dave Matthews, her three children, Theresa Brumback Berry, of Virginia Beach, Sherri Fay Brumback, of Ashburn, and Dallas Walton Brumback, Jr., of Orange, as well as 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and extended family. Our last memory of our mother was the birthday party which was held in her honor at her home on July 11, just days before her passing. In attendance were her three children, three of her grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, including the newest addition, born in April 2026.
