Florence Maddox Minnis

Florence Maddox Minnis, age 63, of Boston, VA, passed away October 20, 2015, at UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA. Born February 28, 1952, to Sidney Maddox and Maddie Woodson Maddox in Orange, VA, Florence worked at Walmart as an associate and attended two years at Germanna Community College.

Florence is survived by her husband William Minnis of Boston, VA, children; Leslie Roach and her husband Thomas, Jr. of Ruckersville, VA, Melissa Kinsler and her husband Arthur of New York, Andrew J. Maddox and his wife Jessica of Spartenburg, SC, Aaron J. Minnis and his wife Rhonda of Knoxville, TN, Lisa E. Wilson and her husband Lynwood of Abingdon, VA, Billie J. Patterson of Bristol, TN, sisters; Virginia Holt of Hohenweld, TN, Bertha Brown and Judy Brown, both of Orange, VA, brothers; Charles Maddox of Maryland and Sidney Maddox of Culpeper, VA , eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery.
