

Frances Reynolds Nirich, age 81, of Amissville, VA, passed away at Prince William Hospital Saturday, September 24, 2011. Frances was born April 29, 1930, in Washington, D.C. to Iva M. Barnes and Reuben Reynolds; although she made her life primarily as a homemaker, she did attend Madison College (currently J.M.U.); worked as a secretary for the Department of the U.S. Army, was a seamstress out of her home, and found time to also volunteer to the local council of Cub Scouts.
Surviving Frances is her husband, John Nirich of Amissville, VA, daughter, Cheryl Norton of White Post, VA, two sons; Michael Nirich (Patsy) of Front Royal, VA and Jim Nirich (Debby) of Catlett, VA, brother, Ray Reynolds of Culpeper, VA, grandchildren; Jennifer Norton, Lee Norton, Shannon Nirich, Christin Nirich and Taylor Nirich, great-grandchildren; Cody Moulds and Melody Norton. In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Reynolds.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, September 28, 2011, at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Hwy., Culpeper, VA 22701. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29, 2011 with interment to follow in Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper.
