

He was born on May 6, 1953 in Charlottesville, Virginia, the only child of Fred W. Burch, Sr. and Beulah I. Marks.
Despite being born with cerebral palsy, Fred graduated from Warrenton High School and went on to a successful career with the federal government as a telephone switchboard operator and computer systems analyst at Vint Hill Farms Station.
He had a life-long love of guns, dogs, and thoroughbred horse racing.
He is predeceased by his parents, his first wife, Dale Glascock, a granddaughter, Kylie Burch, and three special pets: Jensen, Ginger, and Lucy. He is survived by his son Kyle and many good friends and acquaintances. Fred also acted as a grandfather to several children: Jonathan and Charles Miller, Coffee Hammonds, Patrick Mallory, and Sunjah and Tamar Yates, and had a "special daughter", Loretta Carr.
A memorial service celebrating Fred's life will be held at the Culpeper Reformation Lutheran Church on March 2, at 11:00 AM.
