Gracie Garrison

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on October 11, 2025 at Bethel Baptist Church, 6262 Hoover Rd., Reva, VA.

Gracie was born on December 16, 1935 in Free Union, Virginia, the daughter of the late David McCauley and Sarah McCauley.

Gracie worked as a manager for Drug Fair until retiring, and then continued working in the family HVAC business for many years. During those years she had the opportunity to travel to many places around the world. She loved reading, dancing and enjoyed snow skiing.

Gracie was proceeded in death by her

husband Samuel Garrison, son Lee Collier, stepdaughter Betty Payne, grandsons Aaron Poe, Jason Titus and 11 siblings.

She is survived by daughters Debbie Poe (Ronnie), Christine Armstrong (Darryl), Annie Johnson, stepdaughters Barbara Mullins (Kirk), Marie Burnette (Terry), and stepson Steve Garrison (Kay), along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gracie was a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church in Reva, VA
