Grover Amick was born on 8/4/1936 in Boston, Massachusetts. He thoroughly enjoyed growing up in the small town of Kennebunk, Maine with his sister Florence and his brother David. After high school he joined the Army and served his tour of duty in Japan. He then graduated from the University of Maryland, and had an exciting career in aeronautical engineering and infrared technology, and assisted with the development of the F117 Stealth Bomber.
Grover launched his most amazing life adventure when he married Rozelle in 1977. His career took them all over the country, where they enjoyed discovering new scenery and communities. He stayed busy with a variety of hobbies and organizations, including working on his beloved turquoise 1967 Ford Mustang convertible and its matching coupe, building numerous woodworking projects, a number of large balsa wood remote control airplanes and models. He enjoyed membership in the Masonic Lodge, the Old Crows Association (electronic warfare), the Commemorative Air Force and the Ruritan Club at Lignum.
Grover is survived by his beloved wife Rozelle, his children Diana, Karl (Jackie), Paul (Lisa), Annette (Mike) and Jane (Joe), 10 grandchildren and their spouses, 5 great-grandchildren, and many friends and neighbors.
