Jack Bennie Kennedy

Jack Bennie Kennedy, 80, of Culpeper, VA, passed away February 14, 2022 in the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 11, 1941 to Albert Kennedy and Mary Suder Kennedy; served his country in the U.S. Air Force; worked for the Federal Reserve until retirement; was a Washington Nationals fan and enjoyed golfing and traveling.

Surviving Jack is his wife of Sylvia Taylor Kennedy (they were in their 60th year of marraige) and a son in law Carl Breeden, Jr. He also leaves many close friends. Jack is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Traci.

Funeral services will be held in Hopewell United Methodist Church, Lignum, VA Monday, February 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Evans conducting the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends for one hour before the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Hopewell United Methodist Church, 23557 Lignum Road, Lignum, VA 22726.
