It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Jackie Willis at the age of 76, mother of Samuel (and Susan) Willis. Jackie was born on February 19, 1949 to Ruth Williams and Edward Jones. She died on September 19, 2025 after an extended illness at The Crossing in Searcy, which had become her home in recent years.
Jackie follows her husband, Eugene Y. Willis, III and is survived by her son Samuel (Susan) and her grandchildren, Elijah, Noah, Eden, and Kristopher (Mary); by her mother, Ruth Williams; and by her sister, Joanne Hampson.
Jackie was a life long member of Temple Beth Shalom in Fredericksburg, VA; a member and former president of the Ladies of the Moose; and a donor to many charities. She retired after serving the DOD for 34 years at the Pentagon. Jackie loved word puzzles, reading and art.
Services will be held at the Masonic Cemetery at 1012 N. Main Street Culpeper, VA 22701 on Friday September 26, 2025 at 11:00am.
