James Clyde Woodside

James Clyde Woodside We regret to announce the passing of James Clyde Woodside (Jim), 69, on April 16, 2024, at Autumn Care of Madison due to complications following an auto-pedestrian accident. Jim was born to J. Robert and Mary Ann Woodside on June 12, 1954 in Missouri. The family moved to Virginia, and Jim graduated at the top of his class from Warren County High School in 1972. He went on to attend the University of Virginia and graduated in 1976 with a degree in Commerce. After trying the more traditional route of banking, Jim found his entrepreneurial spirit first by re-stringing tennis rackets and ultimately owning and operating his own transportation business with multiple vehicles and drivers. They did courier work and primarily drove people to and from the airport. Jim was preceded in death by his father, J. Robert Woodside. Jim is survived by his mother Mary Ann Woodside, a sister Martha (Tom) Pack, a brother Doug (Allison) Woodside, a sister MaryLynn (Bill) Frantz, and a host of nieces and nephews.
