Judith Carpenter Hook

Judy Hook, of Culpeper, VA passed away on June 28, 2026 after a hard and courage two-year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Born on November 12, 1945 in Mt. Vernon, OH, she lived her life to its fullest and full of love and kindness. She continued to show this as she faced this illness head on, as well as her unwavering strength and inspiring all of those around her during this time.

Judy is survived by her husband, Ralph Hook, daughter Shelly Burchell (Daniel), step-children Kim Hook Nix and Kevin Hook (Gabby). As well as several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchild who she was proudly called Nina by them. Judy is also survived by her siblings Gary Carpenter (Marlene), Joyce Hunkins (Rodney) and Tom Carpenter (Peggy) and several Nieces, Nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents John & Helen Carpenter.

A Celebration of Life will be held for her on August 15, 2026 from 11am – 3 pm at Clore-English Funeral Home located at 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA 22701.
