Katherine Brown Jones

Katherine was born on January 18, 1919 the daughter of the late Herbert and Nellie Brown of LaGrange, VA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, E.L. "Jack" Jones, Culpeper, her siblings Roy Brown, Hazel Crane, Florence Hiner, Maxine Crane and Stanley Brown, and her son-in-law Allen Curtis.

Survivors include her brother Estil Brown, her two daughters Brenda Curtis, Diane Jones and partner JoAnn Chrysanthus, two grand-daughters Cindy Kerns and husband Dave, Robin Hensley and husband Jody, seven great-grandchildren Morgan Kerns, Kyle Hensley, Jacob Kerns, Morgan Lanier, Luke Kerns, Taylore Kerns and Trey Hensley and one great-great grandchild, Madisyn Lanier.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 23557 Lignum Road,Lignum, VA 22726 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be sent to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway Charlottesville,VA 22911 and reference Rapidan Fund or Hopewell United Methodist P.O.Box 87 Lignum, VA 22726 and reference Cemetery Bench.
