
Lillian Crawford (Lee) Sykes, also known as Little Wiff, Momma, Maw Maw, Sis, B.B., Lee, and “Hard Head!”, passed into the care of our Lord on July 24th, 2025. Lillian was born December 14, 1946 in Greenville, WV, to the late Opie Roy Crawford and the late Audra Gerldine Bradley.
In addition to her parents Lillian is also preceded in death by; her husband Jim, her son Brad, mother-in-law Pearl, sister Bonnie, and Don, and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd, Margie, Roy, Harry, and Dorothy.
She is survived by her grandchildren Thomas, Michael, Damian and wife Shelby, and Jeremy, brothers Curtis and Opie Ray, Ray’s wife Nancy, daughter-in-law Missy, sister-in-law Betty, former daughter-in-law Lisa White, and her many beloved nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and dear friends.
Lillian is dearly missed and remembered by her congregation at the Bethel Baptist Church. She brought light to her community, and the many places she visited on her travels. That light shines on in her postcard collection, her beautiful garden, and the memories made with her family and friends. Lillian will be remembered for the warmth and heart she gave every person lucky enough to meet her.
A funeral service will be held on July 27th at 1:00 pm, at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Hwy, burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Reva Virginia. Services will be officiated by Reverend Belva Dickey, and special memories will be shared by Dr. Lentine and Tom Sowell.
