

Margaret was born in Raccoon Ford, VA on April 20, 1937 to the late Shelton and Josphine Brown Berry.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Seale, sisters Hazel Berry and Betty Ann Berry Fukushima a, brothers Robert (Buck) Berry, Wm. Claude Berry and Charlie Berry.
Margaret is survived by her son Herman (Herby) Clore, Jr. (Karen) of San Lorenzo, CA, Step-Son James (Jimmy) Seale of Reva, Va, grandchildren Alexis Clore-Kleeman of Walnut Creek, CA, Becca Clore of San Lorenzo, CA, Lt. Col Joseph Seale of Baumgardner, Germany and Tabitha Weir of Jacksonville, NC along with 8 great grandchildren, one niece and four nephews.
Margaret worked for VDOT for many years before retiring in 1995. Prior to VDOT, Margaret worked at the defunct JJ Newberry’s Department Store on Davis St. in Culpeper. Margaret loved to cook, crochet, attend her church, participate in the local TOPS group, go on overnight trips with her husband and friends, and being entertained by her beloved dog, Chance.
Margaret was loved by all that knew her. She enjoyed helping others and never expected anything in return. She was a genuine lady that always saw the best in people. She will certainly be missed by all that knew her.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday September 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m., at Clore-English Funeral Home 11190 James Monroe Hwy. Culpeper, VA 22701. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday September 4, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery 822 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Woodland United Methodist Church at 150 Garr Avenue, Culpeper, VA 22701 or the Hospice of the Piedmont at 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
