and Rehabilitation Center, Culpeper, Virginia. Marjorie was born in Aylor, Virginia in Madison
County on December 10, 1933. She attended Madison County schools before receiving going to
cosmetology school. Marjorie married Estil Brown on January 16, 1955. They lived in
Springfield, Virginia. where Marjorie was a well-known hairdresser and had a large following of
customers. Estil was a Fairfax County teacher and coach. When they retired, they moved to
Estil's home place, LaGrange, Virginia. Marjorie enjoyed her many gardens there, making family
welcome, and serving her church. Her favorite place was sitting on her front porch.
Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Sharon Kay Spengler (Frank) of Manassas,
Virginia., and Deborah Ellen Holt (Robert) of Tucson, Arizona, and by two granddaughters
Dagny Eir Holt and Alex Spengler Riley. Marjorie is also survived by two brothers, Ronnie
Aylor of Organe, Virgibia, and Donnie Aylor (twins) of Madison, Virginia. Marjorie was
preceded in death by her husband Estil, and three of her brothers.
The funeral will be a graveside service at Hopewell United Methodist Church on Friday,
October 21 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Hopewell Methodist
