Mary West Kilby

Mary was born February 11, 1933 to the late Dent and Pauline West.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell Kilby Jr., and children; Russell Clatterbuck, Mary Whittaker and Gordon Kilby

Mary is survived by her daughters Sue Overby of Greensboro, NC, Ellen Barbieri of Clayton, GA, Elaine (Coye) Pendergrass of Garner, NC, and Nancy (David) VanDyke of Severn, MD. She had 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Mary loved to spend time in her yard gardening and growing her numerous flowers, crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her dog Prissy.

There will be a time of Visitation for Mary on Monday June 22, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home 11190 James Monroe Hwy, Culpeper, VA 22701, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Hans Murdoch officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery New Grounds 501 East Chandler St. Culpeper, VA 22701.
