Scott Andrew Berry

Scott Andrew Berry, age 41, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2016 at his residence. Scott was born November 22, 1974 in Charlottesville, VA. He was a loving father, son and friend, who had a great sense of humor and continuous smile. Scot was a Redskins fan, enjoyed card playing and NASCAR.

Surviving Scott is his daughter, Lauren Ann Berry (Devin A. Myers); his mother, Sherry Thornhill (Jerry); his maternal grandmother, Peggy Via Hitt; his maternal aunts, Sandy Via (Gail Morris) , Ann Hume (Donald) and Cathy Bascino; his paternal aunts, Cathy Moorefield and Phyllis Tyler; his cousins, Matthew Corbin and Patrick Timmons; his niece Courtney Berry who he thought of as a daughter, and the mother of his child, Becky Supthin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Berry; his brothers, Steve Berry and Shawn Berry; his maternal grandfather William Via; his paternal grandparents, Hazel Berry and A.L. Berry; his aunt, June Weakley and uncles David Corbin and Danny Berry.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Orndorff officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home.
