I regret not sharing a story today at the funeral. to keep with the subject of heroism : long before using iPhones and “tracking location w/your bae” was a thing, we use sidekicks and who knows what type of flip phones!!!  but still somehow in the situation Amar was able to track me ….I had gone out with a friend & it was apparent immediately that our drinks had been spiked. I immediately told him & he had told me to go lock myself in my car. I climbed into my backseat, laid down & locked the doors. I woke later to him pounding on my window with a huge huge grin on his face pointing to his phone proudly,  & saying this is how I found you!!! Tony & himself had come all the way from Culver City area to Agoura Hills to safely rescue me . this is one story where he truly was a superhero !!! I’d say most of the other times it was the other way around -me protecting him !!!! lol lol I shared many memories & experiences with this wonderful being … thank you for the experiences thank you for the people you introduced me to and most importantly thank you for the comfort that I know both of us experienced at a time where we both really needed it..I will always love you and I will remember you fondly . always, “cupcake” <3

My Baby Brother the day they brung you home I smiled so hard  my face hurt. I was Proud to be a big Sister and even Prouder I was allowed in sharing naming you. FINALLY I had a BROTHER! You were such a beautiful baby boy who became a beautiful man. Our family  Super Hero. The one and only Black Bruce Wanye. How to now say a goodbye I am not ready for is a step by step second by second despair 

Amar was a kind friend and a gentle soul. I remember, I would always see him when I was coming to and from my friend Gloria’s house. He would always say “hey Mrs. Parker” then smile and wave, and I would always say “hey Shady” and smile. He always knew a way to make you smile and laugh and you couldn’t help but to love him. I will miss him very much. 

We grew up together and I learn to like cartoons  because of him. I have missed my brotherly  bound over the years. I will never forget him. My heart is broken.  Love Brian Singletary. 

My heart is torn into pieces with many puzzling qualms. Yet, I am left with a cluster of emotions, And scattered memories, for there is so much glint of  light, devotion, intelligence, honor, integrity, humanity, patience, a WARRIOR ,benevolence, and a GREAT DEAL of vitality depicted in this photo. This loss is a punch to the gut, Unk. You were a man worthy of emulation, and I will never dishonor you by lowering the bar. I’ve always said and will continue to carry your name with Pride. Amar,You posed as a beacon of light at the end of the tunnel for many of our lives, and yet, darkness seeps in, overcasting families in sorrow as we gather, mourning your absence. Although disheartened, I celebrate you as a pillar of the #Cheatham family foundation. You leave behind an an intricate piece of our legacy, A prince, that I will bejewel in stories of your greatness. It is with a heavy heart (Batman symbols up) that we must part,

Amar was always a loving child , he loved his mother very much . When he was little he had the deepest voice very strong vocal cords I could hear him  very clearly when he was calling for Jennifer, his mom😇when he was a toddler.

  As an adult he  truly cared  about others . He will be missed by many relatives and friends. Although he is gone he will never be forgotten….

I would like to say that I will miss you very much .. you were a good friend to me and I appreciate d every thing you did for me from carrying my groceries in my house to singing  a song to me when you would see me in my yard .. continue to watch over us as always did …Rest in paradise my good friend .. your friend always Gloria
