Aracely was born on April 20th, 1974 in El Salvador to Blanca Orbelina and Manuel Antonio Castillo. At the age of 15, Aracely moved to Los Angeles, California and met the love of her life, Ricardo Quintanilla when they were 21 years old. Aracely and Ricardo married a few years later and would grow together to share many wonderful years and memories together as they enjoyed going to the beach, watching movies, and dining out.
Aracely was a woman of strong faith and someone who enjoyed reading and studying the Bible as a devoted daughter of God. Aracely was also a dedicated wife, daughter, sister, and aunt as she always prioritized her family and looked forward to spending time with her loved ones. As a proud aunt to her nieces and nephews, Aracely was there to support and cheer them on in all their milestones and accomplishments. Aracely had a heart of gold that allowed her to give as much love as she received. In recent years, Aracely helped take care of her mother who is also battling cancer. Her strong call to care for others naturally allowed her to work as a wonderful nanny where she touched the lives of every family she serviced. Aracely will be remembered fondly for her kindness, generosity, caring demeanor and sense of humor.
Aracely has now joined her father, Manuel Antonio, in heaven. She is survived by her husband Ricardo, mother Orbelina, siblings Mirna, Antonio, Gerber, Henry, her “lil sistah,” Jessica and her beloved nieces and nephews.
Aracely’s loving presence will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by her family and friends. For everyone who knew Aracely, we share an aching heart, she was too young to leave us and had so much left to offer. She is now with God in His heavenly kingdom.
A celebration of life will be held in honor of Aracely. The viewing will take place on August 13th, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:30pm. A funeral service will be followed on August 14th, 2021 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Gates, Kingsley and Gates Smith Salsbury funeral home.
