Family and friends will always remember David for his intelligence and wit. He managed to accumulate a wealth of knowledge about current events, world history, financial markets, constellations and more. David would fascinate others with facts, figures and interesting tidbits of knowledge. People remember him as a good person, never judging others.
David was born in Montebello, CA. Growing up, David lived in California, Florida, The Philippines, New Jersey, and New Hampshire. He was Valedictorian of his High School class and captain of the downhill ski team. He continued his love for the outdoors when he attended Dartmouth College where he was on the ski team, became President of the Dartmouth Outing Club and Vice President of Alpha Chi Alpha fraternity and was indoctrinated into the Casque & Gauntlet society. David graduated with a degree in Economics which led to over 35 years in the Financial Services industry including senior roles with The Chicago Board of Options Exchange, Plexus Group and the Wilshire Group.
As parents, David and Rinda continued the outdoor traditions with the twins, many times including neighbors on ski trips, dessert explorations and more. David loved volunteering at gymnastics events and was always willing to help out where needed.
The family carried on the travel tradition including living in London for two months while David worked out of the Wilshire Group’s London office. More locally, they frequented zoos and parks, drove the PCH and visited LegoLand and DisneyLand, and made the trek to see David’s parents in Camarillo.
David is now at rest with his parents, Herb and Pauline. All three having front row seats watching the twins and their three cousins grow up to be wonderful adults. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist the family.
