Eileen Lois Crandall

EILEEN LOIS EXNICIOS CRANDALL, 91, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2011, in Marina del Rey, California. Eileen was born in San Francisco, CA on April 19, 1919 and was raised in San Diego, CA. She was the loving wife of L. LeRoy Crandall whom she married on September 20, 1941. LeRoy and Eileen moved to La Canada, CA in 1950 and lived there for 25 years raising their four children. They moved to Marina del Rey in 1975 where she resided until her death. Eileen’s greatest passions were her family, being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles and the ocean breeze. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Crandall Weideman, and a grandson, Michael Eagen, Jr. Eileen is survived by her husband for nearly 70 years, LeRoy Crandall of Marina del Rey, CA; her daughter ,Carol and husband Kenneth Upchurch of Itasca, TX, daughter Gloria and husband Tom Homewood of Las Vegas, NV; son, David and wife Donna Crandall of Los Angeles, CA, and son-in-law, Arthur Weideman of Pahrump, NV; her grandchildren, Coy Upchurch, Kerry Upchurch, Jennifer Crandall, Kelly Eagen, and Jamie Eagen; her nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her many friends. We were all blessed to have her in our lives and she will be truly missed. As she requested, there will be no memorial service.
