He was the beloved husband of the late Susan Chen.
Born in I-Lan, Taiwan, he attended college at the University of Taiwan, where he met and married Susan Liu. They lived in many countries - Taiwan, New Zealand, and Australia before residing in Washington Crossing, PA, USA, where he worked as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine for Johnson & Johnson. Later in his career, he was the founder of Advance International, a successful veterinarian consulting firm.
Eugene is survived by his daughter Mary (Ulf), sons, Robert, Philip (Melinda), and Douglas (Heidi), and his brother Harold, and brother-in-law Kent. He is the grandfather of Adrian, Melissa, Jason, Jeremy, Oliver and Eloise.
A viewing will be held from 10.15 am to 10.50 am, followed by a funeral service at 11.00 am Wednesday, September 24 at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury Funeral Directors at 4220 S. Sepulveda Blvd Culver City, CA 90230.
