Flora Guzman

Flora Guzmán nació el 12 de Octubre del 1942 en el pueblo de San Baltazar Yatzachi El Alto, Oaxaca, México. Fue la tercer hija de Ángela Rodríguez y Porfirio Guzmán. Flora se emigró a los Estados Unidos en los años 1960’s y estableció residencia en Los Ángeles, CA. Tuvo dos hijas: Ángela y Gabriela. Crió a sus hijas con mucho amor y devoción. Siempre aconsejaba a sus hijas que aprovecharan a obtener una educación y carrera. Y así lo hicieron.

Su mayor felicidad eran sus nietos: Christian, Ryan, y Nicholas. En su tiempo libre Flora regalaba su tiempo a sus nietos. Por mucho tiempo Flora invirtió toda su fuerza y persistencia a luchar para tener más tiempo con su familia especialmente sus nietos. Su cuerpo se canso y ella falleció el Viernes 21 de Octubre de 2011 a los 69 años.

Estamos felices y agradecidos todo el tiempo que ella nos regaló. Pero también nos alegra que ahora esta con Nuestro Señor en La Gloria. Desde El Reino de Dios nos esta protegiendo.

Flora Guzmán was born on October 12, 1942 in the town of San Baltazar Yatzachi El Alto, Oaxaca, Mexico. She was the third daughter of Angela Rodriguez and Porfirio Guzmán. Flora immigrated to the United States in the 1960’s and settled in Los Angeles, CA. She had two daughters: Angela and Gabriela. Flora raised her daughters with love and devotion. She constantly emphasized to her daughters the importance of having an education and profession. So it happened.

Flora’s greatest happiness was the time she spent with her grandsons: Christian, Ryan, and Nicholas. She always spent her free time with her grandsons. For a long time, Flora invested all her strength and will to fight (a longer time here on Earth) to have more time to spend with her family, especially her grandsons. However, Flora’s body grew tired and she passed on Friday, October 21, 2011.

We are happy and thankful for the time she gifted us. However, we are more joyful that she is in the Kingdom of God. We are lucky to have an angel like her watching over us.
