Hi grandma, it's me again. I came to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I love you and miss you so much. I wish you were here celebrating your birthday with us.

In 4 days it will be a month that you left us. Miss you so much. I know that you are now reunited with our mother and all your loved ones that have gone before you. When it is my turn to go, I will look for you and mom and we will be together for eternity.

I love you and miss you more than you know grandma. Today is new years eve, and I know your here with us. You are always in my heart and thoughts. Except I cant text you this year and ask you if you have your dancing shoes on.lol I know it made u laugh everytime I told you that. Well happy new years grandma!!! I love you!!

Today I said goodbye to you. I will miss you very much. We shared a common bond in our grandchildren, the children of your son Ruben and my daughter Marleen. Through the years we attended the grand kids birthdays parties, remembering that you always seemed to be the one to make the potato salad. They were fun times. My granddaughter Jada has a blanket that you made 5 years ago and she told me yesterday that she will cherish it. Wish there had been more time to see one another at more birthdays. I used to look for your posts on FB because you always seemed to post the best oldies and we seemed to share the same photos of our great grandchild. I am sadden to know your page will be silent. Rest in Peace my beloved friend.

Helen is and will always be my Aunt and Godmother. She used to babysit me when my parents and I still lived in Los Angeles. I have a memory of her picking me up from Kindergarten early one day, and I was so excited to see her. Other fun memories I have of her are watching Days of Our Lives, her Christmas trees full of tinsel, and her macaroni salad. I will always remember her talent for consoling crying babies and her handmade blankets. It’s been a few years since I last saw her, but that doesn’t matter; I loved her and I know she loved me.

Aunt Helen was always so nice to me and always had such a beautiful smile and warmth. I always looked forward to seeing her at family gatherings. Praying that the Lord would bring His comfort to everyone at this difficult time. We will miss you, Aunt Helen.

Helen was my oldest sister she was the kind and soft spoken one of the siblings. One of my memories that makes me laugh now is when she used to throw hair brushes and Aqua Net hairspray cans at Ralph and I whenever she got mad at us. Other fond memories were our girls weekend getaways with our cousins. One outing I’ll always remember was when we went to Tijuana with her sister-in-law Gloria, we laughed so much. Helen and Gloria had their own beds and they put me on a roll-away bed Helen said I snored so loud she almost rolled me into the hallway. I will miss you always Helen. Rest In Peace my dear sister ❤️

We had Helen laughing all the time. From 14 years old to 45 years old.
We would all be packed in her car. Going.... everywhere.
The last thing she would say when she dropped us off - Would be, “You girls are Crazy. Try not to get into any trouble .” We knew we were safe because she would be right outside waiting to take us back to her house. And we always had a story for her. She took good care of us. If I was upset about something, I would sit on the arm of her chair - And she would just listen. When no other adult would.
My most memorable times, as a teenager were at David and Helen’s House.
Thank you, David and Helen. For your support; and welcoming ALL OF US into your home.
With the most Respect & Love,

The earliest memory I have of my Dear Cousin Helen was attending her and David's Wedding I thought it was the most beautiful wedding I'd ever been to. I was 12 years old at the time I was very impressionable. I didn't see much of her through the years only at family reunions and thank goodness for social media which kept us connected. I remember always complementing her on her beautiful needle work.
My Sincerest Condolences to her family

Aunt helen was always like a second mother to everyone when we We're Young. When you needed someone to talk to she was always there. Giving Yvonne and all us girls rides in her Cadillac . love you aunt helen ❤you will truly be missed. Praying for you uncle david ❤🙏
