
She lived much of her life in Pacific Palisades, and previously Washington D.C., and traveled the world earlier living also in Caracas, Venezuela and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was an adventurer, enjoyed cruises and Europe, and loved people and their stories. She worked in government including Social Security in Washington D.C., and once in California worked in real estate. She met the love of her life Robert Miller taking his real estate course, and enjoyed a long marriage, and worked together in developing a real estate business. Her joy was to help others in real estate dealings, and was generous and kind. She was knowledgeable, an avid reader, and fascinated with history and politics. She was a long time Republican, and attended the inaugural balls for both President Nixon and President Reagan.
Survivors include her son Dr. Kevin Chamas, her grandchildren Joshua, Dylan, Jack, Isobel, and her great-grandchildren Ava, Tristan, Silas, and Levi, and was preceded in death by her late husband Robert F Miller.
Services will be held at Holy Cross Mortuary at 9 a.m. May 20th, 2016, with internment to follow there. Relatives and friends are welcome.
