My name is Jeanine and I worked with Eileen for years while at UCLA. I loved how Mrs. Snowhook instantly became a 2nd Mom to me. I needed that being in LA all alone.  

So many times she insisted I stay for a home cooked meal or go out to eat with  the family AFTER my shift was over.  I missed a few dates, lol, but enjoyed being included and loved on. I’m the one who named my 1st born Javid. She loved to tell how that originated from the names she chose for her two sons. Jay and David. There’s probably endless stories on the impact that she made everywhere she went. 

She was a fierce advocate for Eileen, and made sure everyone knew that she deserved the VERY best. She was a devoted wife and mom to all of her children, and it showed by how close they were even though they were adults with their own lives. 

Somehow, I KNEW she had passed. I’m actually sitting in the hospital, and googled her name... and sure enough, she passed the day I got here, and was thinking of her, but wasn’t well enough to look it up. 

Well - I want you to know that Mrs. Snowhook, Mr. Snowhook, Eileen and the entire family helped form who I am today. My only grandson will be two tomorrow and he is clearly on the spectrum. He hasn’t yet been evaluated, but it’s obvious. I want you to know that it is because of the example Mrs. Snowhook set, I’m not afraid for him. I know that with our support, and the intervention he needs. He can do ANYTHING!!
