Kenneth Joe Poe

Kenny Poe, born August 28, 1947, peacefully entered Heaven with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 8, 2016. He is reunited with his mother, father, sister, brothers, daughter Alexandra, and many of his relatives. His beloved family- Robin Poe, Helena Lisle, Danielle Prosperini (Brian), Errol Poe (Kristy), Kenyn Castañeda (Josh), Cesin Reder (Joey), Kim Brener (Chris), Jonathan van Belle (Zuriel), Christopher van Belle (Kristina), seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and many friends are blessed to know he is released from pain in this life. We believe that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We cherish those memories he blessed us with during his lifetime. He was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1947. He attended John Burroughs High School and Azusa Pacific University. He sang with the Bob Mitchell Boys Choir for many years during his youth. This choir travelled and performed for, and with, many famous celebrities. He continued to sing for the Lord at churches as long as his health allowed him to do so. He accepted the Lord at the age of 22, and he wholeheartedly served Jesus till his death. His deepest desires were to serve the Lord and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
