Mr. Leon Ramos Reyes

Leon Ramos Reyes, 88, of Los Angeles, California passed away at his home on Sunday, October 9th, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born in North Hollywood, California in 1928 but his family moved to Mexico due to the depression. He moved back to California in 1956 with his wife Alejandrina and his children. Leon was married for over 60 years to his loving wife Alejandrina who passed away in 2011. He is survived by his daughters, Grace Reyes, Margarita Whitehead, Tomasa Saenz, sons Bernardo Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Leo Reyes Jr., and Julian Reyes and 3 granddaughters, 11 grandsons, 4 great-granddaughters, and 7 great-grandsons, and a great-great-grandson, and a brother and a sister and many extended family. Leon was a gardener in his own business for 34 years. He enjoyed playing cards and playing the slot machines. He was very active in his church community. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and uncle. He was a very generous man who always helped his family and friends in need.
