Lillian Ursula Vargas, age 93, of Fremont, California passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. She was a longtime resident of Culver City.

Lillian is survived by her daughter Gloria Theresa Vargas; her daughter Rosalina Mary Schiavone; and her son William Vargas Jr.; her granddaughter Lillian Shannon Wheaton, her grandson Sam Salvador Schiavone, her grandson Dominic Blomer Vargas, her grandson Anthony Blomer Vargas, her great grandchild Sam Salvador Schiavone, her nephew Jorge Campos, her niece Priscilla Robles, her niece Rachel Cruz and her nephew Thomas Cruz.

A visitation for Lillian will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury Funeral Directors, 4220 South Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 3850 Jasmine Ave, Culver City, CA 90232. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 27, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 W Slauson Ave, Culver City, CA 90230.
