Margaret Magill

Margaret Magill, 90, passed away peacefully at her home on July 17, 2026, just three days after her 90th birthday surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Magill, who passed away in 2017.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Margaret was proud of her Scottish heritage and everyone loved her accent! After retiring from Bank of America as an Assistant Vice President in 1994, Margaret and Willie traveled extensively, enjoyed their many walks along Santa Monica beach and countless coffee dates in the Marina. However, family time was their favorite time. That family included daughter, Sharon (Bill), son, Mark (Kelly); her grandsons Anthony (Jasmine), Conrad and Blake along with her seven great-grandchildren, Christopher, Dillan, Caysen, Riley, Aria, Grace and Gavin.

Margaret was also known for her beautiful and radiant smile. Our beloved Mother was the heart of our family. She loved all of us unconditionally, had a generous heart and a great sense of humor. There are no words to describe how much we will miss her and she will forever be in our hearts.

A loyal member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church for over 50 years. A Mass will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on Friday, July 31st at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
