

Sebastian attended WLAC Child Development Center in Culver City, He then attended ST. Joseph Catholic School in Hawthorne, CA and from there he went to Anderson Elementary School, Rogers Middle School in Lawndale,then LACES in Los Angeles, and finally attended Lawndale High School.
The unique thing about Sebastian is that he impacted every person he came across. He was popular at every school he attended. He was well known in all the places we had lived from Los Angeles, Lennox, and Lawndale.
Sebastian was well known for his wit and charm that many enjoyed. He is survived by his father Miguel Cortez-Vega and mother Rita Cortez his paternal grandparents Jose L. and Socorro Cortez, and maternal grandparents Jesus and Ramona Marquez, his two brothers David Garcia-Cortez and Matthew C. Cortez-Marquez, aunts and uncles and numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
