Thinking of you today Reina, you made such an impact in my life that everyday something reminds me of you.  I often find myself recalling a memory of something you taught me. I thank you for the influence you had on me.

Happy Mother’s Day Reina🌸 you and Joe saw me grow up as I came into the Marquez family when I met Rosemary (Bubu) in 6th grade. I’m so glad that the last time I saw you and Mr.Marquez was when I dropped by your house. You took me to a Chinese restaurant to eat lunch and when we returned sitting at the kitchen table I started to not cry but sob.  I didn’ want to say what I was feeling but I knew it would be the last time I would see either one of you. I could hardly talk and them Mr.Marquez started crying. But what I felt was not sadness but great love for you and i’m so glad that I looked at each of you in your eyes and told you how grateful I was for you and how much I  loved you through my tears as the both of you told me you loved me too. I will never forget you, how could I. I love you both🌷💖🌷💖 i’ll See you again in heaven.

A year later and I still think if you everyday. Your presence is still strong and you left so much to all if us who love you.

Aunt Reina...I am so lucky to have spent the one on one quality time with you. Learned so much cooking your special dishes , family history... Your one in a million...I remember you used to like to go to church and light candles  and pray. This ones for you.

Reina, a note to you to tell you how much you mean to me, we have growing a friendship that no one could ever understand. The growth of our friendship became almost like a mother to me, and it hurt when I saw you unhappy or hurting, now your in peace and with those that you miss and love, I know we will meet up again, but till then love you and miss you

Mom going to miss you  but what brings me peace is that you are no longer in pain. I was withyou until the end and saw the peaceful look on your face. When that happen i knew Dad and Tom were embracing you with their love and taking you home in your next journey in life. You left the family with so many memories and the love you had for your family. Gone but  forever in our hearts. Love you and rest in peace now.

Reina may you rest in peace knowing your children and grandchildren all love you very much and will miss you greatly.

Reina I'm so glad I was able to meet you when I did.  Joel loved going to your house to visit, especially because all the toys and goodies you had saved up for him lol. He never came home empty handed.  You were the sweetest great nana ever!  I remember when Joel turned 4, you were happy that we finally took him to get his first haircut. You kept telling us to cut it because he looked like a little girl & he was going to get made fun of at school.  We will never forget the good times we got to spend with you.  You will be missed terribly, but your memories will live on.

Nana you were the best great grandma anyone can ask for you always knew how to make me laugh. I loved how much you loved seeing my dance videos. I am going to miss you so much but now I have an angel to always watch over me your up there with my Tata joe Uncle Tom my dad and your parents and brother and sisters and all the other loved ones I love you and glad you are no longer in pain so glad I stayed by your side and saw you take your last breathe and saw you and got to touch you one last time it meant the world to me see you in heaven nana you can visit me anytime.
