Robert Lee Brown, II was born on March 28th,1981 to Robert Lee Brown and Bridget Paula Vance in Los Angeles, California. Robert was the oldest of four children. He always made sure to show love, patience and kindness to his family, younger siblings, and friends. He became the light and joy of his family and would be proudly known as "Bobby", "Buck Buck" and "Doc".

Robert gave his life to the Lord at a young age and attended Damascus Road A.M.E Church. He loved attending Sunday services with his family and being a part of the church activities. Robert graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in 1999. His love for football would land him a scholarship to California State University of Northridge.

"Bobby" loved being around his family and friends. He would always help his mother prepare the meals for holidays and family gatherings. When someone tried making a dish not of his liking, he made sure to let them know. His craft for grilling became better and better within the years. His barbecue ribs and chicken became the staple of all cookouts. When he was not in the kitchen, he would watch sports and cheer on his favorite team, the Raiders. Hobbies intrigued him including fixing cars and "fix it" projects around the house. Whenever he had the spare time, he wouldn't mind looking under the hood for you or changing your brakes.

The amount of love he had for his son, Robert Jr., was unmeasurable. He made sure the time they spent together would always be memorable. They enjoyed riding dirt bikes and every activity they could share. Robert made sure to put on the most amazing firework show every 4th of July with his son's safety and enjoyment in mind. In his heart his greatest accomplishment was his son.

On November 9th, 2021, Robert made his transition from this life to everlasting life with the Lord. His loving and caring ways will always be remembered by his family and friends. The talks, the laughs and his infectious smile will always live in the hearts of the people who knew him the most. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Camille Brown; paternal grandfather Joseph Brown; paternal grandmother, Juanita Brown; maternal grandfather, Joseph V. Vance; and maternal grandmother, Helen B. Vance.

His wonderful legacy will forever be cherished in the lives of his parents; Robert Lee Brown, Sr. and Bridget Paula Vance; his son, Robert Lee Brown (Mother/Akylla Meadows); his siblings, Robin LaShawn Brown, Christina Marie Brown, and Michael Joseph Brown; his fiancée Chyna Kelly; his Goddaughter, Maniyah McCoy; his niece, Amyah Bernard; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends.

I meet Rob, as my son Andrea , called him. He treated me as if I was his father also. What a kind and loving person. With that being said, I would like to say to the family and friends,”Rob, was a man of Faith, he accepted the Lord as his Shepherd. Now the Shepherd will protect and guide him as he Walk through the valley of death. Once the journey is completed, the Shepherd will deliver him the Live with the Lord forever. All is Well family and friends.”

Robert,

We are blessed to have our memories of you. I remember you as a young boy growing up in Damascus Road A.M.E. Church. You were there almost every Sunday with a smile on your face, easy to get along with, and was a willing worker for whatever was needed to get done in preparation for service and the clean up afterwards. You were always my second son. You treated me with respect.

Although you were big in stature, you were more like a gentle giant. I remember how you could play rough with my son (Michael) but then - did not mind holding my baby girl (Enjole). And oh, how you loved your sisters - looking out for them like a big brother should. Now you are looking down on them with a smile and hopefully you can find time to hang out with my son Michael while you are both up there in heaven.

Love James, Angela & Enjole
