She was born in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, as the third of four children of Leonila and Severino Ramos. She is survived by her beloved partner of almost 25 years, Lewis Bealer, as well as her siblings, Remedios, Racquel, and Rolly; her nephew, Mikki, and her nieces, Anna, Chet, and Chris.
Her lifelong Catholic journey was enriched by her education at the University of Santo Tomas and Ateneo de Manila University, both located in Manila, Philippines. She started her career in the field of Finance by working for the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines), inevitably preparing her for a fulfilling 27-year career in accounting in the United States, from which she retired in 2021.
Rosalinda was devoted to her family, who called her "Dada," and enjoyed a close relationship with her nieces and nephew and siblings. She was passionate about her numerous interests, and age did not deter her from trying new hobbies. She did not wait for retirement to pursue a full, joyous, adventurous life. She enjoyed traveling abroad, with recent trips to Switzerland and Italy with friends and family. She had a fondness for cooking, displaying particular skills for desserts (which she credited to watching her mother in the kitchen during her childhood). She parlayed the popularity of her desserts to an official business creating made-to-order batches of her nata-de-coco specialties.
Among her other major hobbies was her dedication to the Los Angeles Lakers, particularly her favorite player, Kobe Bryant. In her later years, her encyclopedic knowledge of all things NBA-related surpassed even that of her brother's, to the amusement of her family.
Dada will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her kindness, a joyous sense of humor, her good taste, and a zeal for life. Her ever-sunny disposition will be greatly missed by her family and her wide circle of friends, colleagues, clients, neighbors, and loved ones.
