His memorial service was Wednesday, September 30th at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Smith Salsbury Funeral Home in Culver City, CA

He was born on October 07, 1933, in Paracuaro GTO Mexico to Francisco Canchola and Ester Luna. His mother died during his birth. He was the youngest of two. His beloved sister Emilia plaza went to be with the Lord in 2016. They had an unbreakable bond.

Trinitario “El Guero” grew up in a small town in Paracuaro and in the early ’70s relocated his entire family to Los Angeles. He loved his pueblo querido and looked forward to visiting every year. He spent time with his childhood friends and reminisced childhood memories and enjoyed panting and cultivating crops as he did in his younger days.

Our Father was loved by everyone and respected, his willingness to always help strangers and anyone in need is evident in the way people reference him. He was also a huge animal lover. Cats, dogs literally loved him and were always near him in fact as he laid in bed only an hour before his passing his dog ran passed everyone to see him. He loved to laugh, he was an amazing storyteller and a great sense of humor.

His interests included spending time with his family, gardening, and being outdoors in nature. He was never a man to just sit still he was always active whether it was trimming, planting trees or raking leaves one could always see him fully engaged in the outdoors. If plants and dogs could talk they would say how much they loved this man. Only until the very end at 86 when his energy level dropped did he slow down.

He will forever live in our hearts and memories. His smile and sense of humor will never be forgotten. Until we meet again Dad.
