William shaker was  my father-in-law I was married to his youngest daughter Lisa Marie Pritchard we have two kids together one adult son Kyle 22 years of age and have a daughter his only granddaughter Kayla Chanel Pritchard my father-in-law taught me so much and in the end gave so much he taught me how to be a father me and my wife are no longer married why I don't know but I love her and our children two life he was truly a good man funny and he loved his family very much I did not have much interaction with my wife's family with the exception of a few times it's taken me this long beacause he did so much for me and my family behind the scenes that otherwise would not have been accepted in the family to his wife my mother-in-law and to all his beautiful daughters son's in-laws and grandchildren peace and love I often visit his gravesite thinking about how wonderful he really was  me and my family my  lived with my father-in-law for about 6 months to a year in the marina you're right he love his boat he loved his alone time he was one fantastic father and friend

To the Family of Bill, I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad, and Father that he loved so dearly, my husband and I met Bill  and his lovely daughter Laurie,on the Alaskan Cruise many years ago and we have kept in touch all these years, we had so much fun and I know that you all will miss him so much, he loved his family and he talked about his love for the family, God,be with all of you in this sad time. Our condolences for your family. William had a successful life. Karen asked me to go by Marina del Rey and retrieve the Bell from the sailboat "A Real Shaker LA"  for the funeral service. I rang it a few times for William while there.
