Born October 28, 1945 in Tuxpan, Jalisco born to parents Justo Velazco and Victoria Rocha. She lived in Tuxpan, Jalisco before marrying Dionicio Franco and moving to Santa Monica, California to start a family. Yolanda had a passion for flowers and spending long hours in her garden. She loved cooking for her children as well as grandchildren; survivors include her husband, four daughters, one son, and nine grandchildren. Services will be held on August 13, 2016 at nine in the morning at St. Joan of Arc Church. Burial will be held in private.
